The community provides long-term care services designed for individuals who can no longer be cared for at home or in assisted living. Accommodation Options

Thornton View offers a variety of accommodation options, including private rooms and shared rooms (semi-private and basic/standard). The community has the capacity to accommodate 154 residents. Private rooms provide added comfort, while shared rooms are matched based on gender and similar interests.

Support Services

Support services include comprehensive nursing, medical, therapeutic, and rehabilitative care. Assistance is provided for activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, using the toilet, and eating. Daily housekeeping and laundry services are also available to maintain a clean environment. Professional services, available at an additional cost, include beautician, denturist, dentist, pharmacist, foot care, and respiratory care.

Amenities

The residence features a range of shared amenities, including a pleasant dining environment, gardens, and lounges. Maintenance staff operates 24/7 to ensure safety and comfort. Spiritual services are offered for various religious denominations, including worship services and inter-denominational programs.

Activities

A wide range of social and recreational activities is available seven days a week, including food programs, intergenerational programs, exercise classes, live entertainment, gardening, board games, bingo night, baking and cooking, sing-along sessions, monthly birthday bashes, social groups, and pet therapy. Therapeutic services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and art therapy are also provided.

Dining
