Palisade Gardens features two floors of exceptional amenities. The main floor includes a welcoming lobby and piano lounge, card room, meeting rooms, library, dining facility, theatre/chapel, and access to a spacious, serene landscaped courtyard. The lower level includes an on-premise medical service area and facilities for wellness and relaxation. The nursing station and treatment rooms are located here. Additional conveniences include exercise facilities, laundry, lockers, scooter and bicycle storage, an underground garage, and beauty and barber shop services. Residents can also enjoy a game of billiards.
Activities
The Harmony Life Enrichment Program offers a variety of robust and vibrant programs for those dealing with memory loss. Enrichment programs include music, art, crafts, dance, yoga, meditation, gardening, Fit Minds, reading groups, and spiritual programs. Cognitive programs involve memory games, word games, brain teaser exercises, discussion groups, current events, journaling, and creative writing. Fitness programs feature light cardio exercises, strength training with light weights and bands, flexibility, and balance. Individualized programs include an iPod program, Montessori activities, one-on-one volunteer-based programs, intergenerational events with local schools and organizations, as well as peer-mentoring activities. The community shuttle facilitates local outings, and the Activity Director provides more information about these opportunities.
