Description

Welcome to Mount Carmel Retirement Residence

Assisted Living in a Family Caring Tradition Since 1920

Nestled in the heart of St. Catharines, Ontario, on scenic Yates Street, Mount Carmel Retirement Residence has been a cherished home for seniors in the Niagara Region. Operated by the Carmelite Sisters religious order since 1920, this non-profit facility upholds a tradition of exceptional care in a warm and welcoming community environment. Though our original residence may be gone, the loving, familial atmosphere established by our foundress, Mother Maria Teresa, continues to flourish.

Located near the beautiful Montebello Park and with easy access to public transportation, Mount Carmel Home offers a serene and supportive environment for seniors. While the Carmelite Sisters are a Roman Catholic order, we embrace residents of all Christian denominations and other faiths, fostering a spirit of inclusivity and respect.
