Stirling Towers envisions a retirement where residents enjoy a safe and relaxed atmosphere akin to home, with personalized assistance available to maintain independence. Centered in the heart of Stirling, surrounded by a large variety of quaint specialty shops, the Stirling Festival Theatre, Stirling Library, Farm Town Park, beautiful parks and Rawdon Creek allows residents to experience both a relaxing atmosphere and a more active lifestyle.
Levels of Care
While independent living is encouraged, personal assistance and support of activities of daily life are available when required, allowing residents to maintain their level of independence. Outside services provided by Home and Community Services are also available and encouraged when required.
Accommodation Options
Bright and cheery bedsitting rooms allow residents to furnish with their comfort in mind. Rooms have telephone and television outlets, and residents are welcome to personalize their rooms with treasured belongings. Some basic furnishings are available for those unable to bring their own.
Support Services
Medication programs are available, and there is a Respite Care Program for short-term stays. Weekly bathing assistance is provided once per week, and there is an on-site footcare clinic monthly.
Amenities
The facility is wheelchair accessible and offers housekeeping plus daily garbage pick-up. Entertainment is provided by local artists and volunteer groups. The premises are equipped with sprinkler and up-to-date fire alarm systems. A hairdressing service is available on-site.
Activities
Numerous activities are available, ranging from cribbage, checkers, cards, crokinole, and bingo. Residents are encouraged to participate in musical get-togethers, afternoon teas, exercises, and crafts. For those who enjoy the outdoors, they can relax on the covered deck and enjoy the view of beautiful downtown Stirling.
Dining
Residents enjoy three home-cooked meals daily, with a choice between two entrees at each meal and also two tea/snack times per day. The cooks strive to provide a variety of dishes and encourage residents to make requests for future menu additions. All meals are made with fresh, in-season fruits and vegetables when available.
