Our facility consists of three different phases of accommodation to suit our residents’ needs:

Phase 1: Independent Living

Independent Living is suited for seniors who are able to live independently without much support. This phase is for those who do not require daily support but want to have a community-based lifestyle and take advantage of our luxurious facilities, participate in fun activities, and make wonderful friendships all in one place. 😊

Resident suites are one- or two-bedroom apartments with full kitchens and bathrooms. Tenants cook their own meals and maintain their own apartments while having access to on-site amenities, full utilities, and emergency care services. This low-maintenance lifestyle allows active seniors to maintain privacy within a community atmosphere.

Phase 2: Retirement Home Living

Retirement Home Living is also designed with residents’ independence in mind while including additional help and access to medical care. This includes all the same accommodations and liberties as Independent Living with more security and mindfulness of your health needs.

Resident accommodations consist of studio units and one- or two-bedroom suites. The all-inclusive package incorporates full utilities, access to 24-hour attendant care, medication dispensing, light housekeeping, recreational amenities, and three meals a day.

Phase 3: Assisted Living

Assisted Living is for those who want to participate in a community-based lifestyle but need more support. This provides a home environment with added personal care services for seniors needing additional help.

Residents have the same all-inclusive package as Retirement Home Living, plus personal care by dedicated care staff, which includes assistance with dressing, bathing, grooming, and medication.

Residents receive their own private room and bathroom and are encouraged to make use of all social spaces on their wing, such as the dining room, activity area, and the sunroom. ☀️

Planning Activities

During the week, our Activity Director plans group events and activities that reflect a variety of interests to match everyone’s hobbies. An activity calendar is distributed to residents on a monthly basis to keep everyone up to date on upcoming programs and events. Whether you enjoy games, creative arts, music, or fitness, the Activity Department always has something planned to keep you entertained and social. 🎨🎶

For those who appreciate more independent forms of entertainment, Riverdale Terrace includes facilities that connect our residents to more individual-based community activities such as bowling, billiards, mini-putt, movies, and live music.

Our residents receive three freshly prepared meals a day with additional snacks and refreshments available. Our menu is an eight-week rotating menu that changes seasonally. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, our Food Service Manager would be happy to discuss your requirements.
