West Oak Village is a 133-bed long-term care home that provides a nurturing and supportive environment for residents requiring 24-hour nursing and personal care. The residence features a mix of 80 private rooms and 53 basic rooms, each equipped with essential amenities such as bedding, furniture, and telephone and cable outlets. The home is designed with safety in mind, boasting fire sprinklers and a comprehensive 24-hour life safety system. Each of the five small resident home areas, ranging from 21 to 30 beds, includes a dining room, kitchen, living room, den, sun room, and outdoor garden, creating a warm and homelike atmosphere. Residents at West Oak Village benefit from a wide range of services tailored to meet their individual needs. Access to a doctor and various health professionals ensures ongoing medical oversight, while staff provide assistance with medication management and activities of daily living. The home is committed to enhancing residents' quality of life through recreational and social programs, including community and cultural events, art and creative classes, and music therapy. Specialized programs such as restorative and rehabilitation services, a Memory Care Program, and Snoezelen multi-sensory therapy are also available to support residents in optimizing their independence and well-being.
