The residence features a mix of basic and semi-private beds, along with a specialized 22-bed Restore Unit designed for individuals needing rehabilitation services to facilitate their return to independent living within the community. Additionally, the home includes a 30-bed Special Behaviour Unit that focuses on the unique needs of residents living with Alzheimer’s and dementia, ensuring a safe and structured environment tailored to their care. Residents at Cooksville Care Centre benefit from a range of essential services, including bedding and furniture, laundry and housekeeping, nutritious meals, personal hygiene supplies, and medical equipment such as catheters and wound care supplies. Staff members are dedicated to assisting with medication management and all activities of daily living, fostering a sense of dignity and comfort. The home also offers a variety of recreation and social programs that encourage engagement and community connection, along with multi-faith spiritual services to support residents’ diverse needs.
